KASS is a smoke-free, cell phone-free,

Observe KASS prior to beginning lessons.
Thursdays are the best day! Please see swim school
hours on the classes page.
Goggles: Your child will be using goggles
during lessons. Swimmers feel more secure if they
can see in their underwater environment. Just
as important; swimmers need to learn to enjoy
the water without goggles. We remove goggles during
part of each lesson. For your purchase, KASS carries
quality child-size goggles that are anti-fog and
anti-leak .
Swim Pants:Children under age four are required
to wear snug fitting, re-usable swim pants. THERE ARE
ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS. Swim pants are
available for purchase at KASS.
Swimsuits: Little girls need suits 2 sizes
larger than their normal size. A properly fitting
suit has plenty of room under the elastic in the
leg and under the shoulder strap, so when she
strecthes out to swim, the suit will not be too
tight. The straps in the back need to form a "T"
or a cross , so the straps do not slide off the
shoulder. Little boys need swimsuits with an elastic
waist so they can pull suits up and down unassisted
when using the potty and not become entangled
in the strings. Remove strings and replace with
elastic. No jams or long shorts.
Special needs: We have found our environment
cannot meet the needs of all children. An Occupational
Therapist or Physical Therapist specializing in
Aquatic Therapy can better facilitate your child.
Lotions/Oils: KASS is 100% UV protected.
Please no lotions on your child- too slippery
to hold on to!
Inclement Weather: We swim in all kinds
of weather, except local lightning and severe
rain storms (usually in July after 3:00 pm). Lessons
may be delayed.
No Make-Up Lessons: We are offering your
child and education in swimming. We do NOT offer
"make-ups". No refunds or credits missed lessons.
Please do your best to attend as many lessons
as possible. If you are going to miss a lesson,
please let us know. If an instructor is absent,
we will provide a substitute or postpone your
lesson.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at anytime.
